I guess this comes with the inherent human nature of incessant want. We always want what we cannot have and we never know what we have until it is gone.

While most celebrities opt from some privacy, the rest of the population wants to be on tv. We would often read about how stars result to some unnecessary evil just to protect themselves from people who invade their privacy. Some go as far as taking it to court just to ensure their privacy off camera.

Majority of the unknown population though crave for the attention that these celebrities have. They go on reality shows and make giant fools of themselves with all sorts of nonsense stints. Sad but true.

My friend was gloating about being contacted by linkstar back in February, about the possibility of buying adverts on some of his sites. It's not unusual, he's always telling me about people buying ads on his sites. He runs like 40 of them so It's hardly surprising.

The really funny thing? I got approached by them just a couple of weeks later and they also bought advertising on the blog I keep for the place I work! However they didn't want to buy adverts on this blog, they said it doesn't get enough traffic. Fair enough I suppose, at least I can stick my tongue out at my friend and say they've also bought advertising from me

Of course there are people who question how adverts affect your journalistic approach.. it doesn't! Come on people, even the BBC are showing adverts on their pages now and you ever tried watching TV? I'm sorry but anyone who says that my selling of adverts is a reflection of my professionalism is just living in a dream world. Checking google blog search for "linkstar uk", I can see they also bought adverts on a travel site. And guess what, Google... full of adverts! We're in an advertising world.

She did not really break through the Hollywood scene as the humanitarian mother that we know her now. She was known as the wild child of Jon Voight. Most of what is known of her prior to her domestication resembles any parent's nightmare. She first got married when she was twenty one to Jonny Lee Miller who is best known as Sick Boy in Trainspotting. They divorce three years later. Another year later she marries Billy Bob Thornton who is twenty years her senior. Another five years later, she hooks up with Brad Pitt who is twelve years older than her. They have six children together, three of them are adopted.

She has come a long way since her wild days. The changes were extreme and she seems happy. She makes me want to renew my faith in humans but when I think of it, she is one of thousands of millions of people you do not encounter everyday that have absolutely no resemblance to the rest of her species. I am talking attitude-wise here.

Women nowadays are more empowered. They know they belong in other places than the kitchen or the laundry room. Jennifer Aniston has formally filed for divorce from Brad Pitt citing irreconcilable differences as grounds. Rumor has it that Brad wanted to start a family meaning children, lots of them and Jen wanted to focus on her career.

We know her from the hit tv series Friends as Rachel Green but we rarely see her on the big screen which is where her sights are set. Brad on the other hand wishes to enrich the domestic aspect of his life. I guess you really cannot please everybody, no matter how good looking you are to eighty percent of your audience.

It is amazing how moviestars get pregnant overnight and lose the baby weight faster than you can finish this sentence. You see their photos with their bellies looking like they just swallowed a watermelon and the following week, they are in an ad campaign for some famous designer that was shot a few days after the date on the preggers photo. You rarely see celebrity mothers with after-birth paunches. Makes you wonder if they really had a baby.

If I my doctor's advice right, it usually takes five to six months before a new mother can do anything strenuous [eg workouts] to get her pre-baby body back. You cannot even have liposuction while you are cut open in the operating table after the baby has been taken out. Is it really humanly possible to lose baby weight as fast as these stars do? You decide.

Britney Spears can now take her sons with her on her latest Circus world tour. Initial plan was, Spears's sons will stay with her father in her houses near the concert venue wherever it may be but ex-husband Kevin Federline did not agree. Eventually both parties agreed to have Spears take the tots wherever she needs to be.

As posted on her official MySpace blog, the singer is excited to begin the tour and once again perform in front of a live audience.

There have been studies that sons should spend less time with their mothers when they reach a certain age otherwise it increases homosexual tendencies. But it is great to see Britney trying to be a good parent to her boys and exposing them to the industry where she makes a living out of.

It was believed that men who hook up with older women have a thing for their mothers in their subconscious. I wonder if there is any truth to this.

My favorite sample couple for this has got to be Tom Cruise and Cher. There is roughly twenty years between them and this happened way back in the eighties. I imagine this was when Tom Cruise looked like a pretty, innocent angel. Cher was not exactly bad either.

Another favorite is Julianne Moore and Bart Freundlich. To me Julianne is the perfect embodiment of 'aging gracefully'. She does not look all nipped and tucked and her face can still show true emotions. And she still looks beautiful. Bart is cute too to say the least.

I remember as a student, whenever I had to eat, I would always condition my mind to crave for something that is really far from where I was, at least twenty minutes away. With that I would have my backpack full of books I needed for the rest of the day. Improvised weights on a budget. I would take my time so as to set the pace and not feel like my lungs were about to collapse. I had weak lungs when I was a child and I had to go through several months of medication. Every now and then I would still feel like I am short of breath that is why my workout regimen consists more of cardio exercises.

When I get to the food place, I would take the table farthest from the door and the condiments counter [if it is a self-serve joint]. I would chew my slowly not only to prevent indigestion but also to make things easier for the digestive system in general. I also think of the fact that I have to walk back for twenty minutes after my meal. This tiny pseudo workout kept me fit for hiking and helped me stay in control of my beer belly!

Readers, do not go overboard with your exaltation of moviestars. Keep your feet on the ground and live within your means. Just because Paris Hilton got a new car does not mean you also need to upgrade your ride to what she just got. Unless you have a fully loaded bank account that would allow you to do so without having to eat stray weeds in your backyard then go right ahead. If not, please be content with salivating on her photo.

We often hear or read about stories of people going haywire because they worship their idols. This is simply not right. Sometimes they go as far as emulating even the not-so-good characteristics of their screen heroes. Stay in touch with who you are. Always remember stars are just there for entertainment.

Takeshi Kaneshiro will be the voice behind Samanosuke Akechi, the main character in the Capcom video game Onimusha, which was also modeled after him [the resemblance is actually quite creepy, it is that close].

Basically, the game is about demons roaming the kingdom at night and killing people that will soon take over the whole land. The demons are led by a warlord killed earlier in the story. Samanosuke is the Samurai called by the Princess to save the kingdom.
